Bodega Bay, California

There is magic in the turns, a whisper in the trees and a never fading beauty found along the drive. Scooting through Highway 12 from Healdsberg to Bodega Bay will always be in my thoughts. This drive brings back memories from my college days at Sonoma State. I remember driving through the hillside country road, passing the farms filled with cows and horses in complete contentedness.
Once you get to the coast, it is a visual of rough cliffs, mammoth rocks and untouched beaches. These beaches are not your average southern California coastline. I love the drive to Bodega Bay. I recently made this drive on my vacation. One of the best drives I have had in a long time! On the way back, I took the long way through Guerneville back to Geyserville. MAN ALIVE! You must do this drive in your life time. So many visually stimulating scenes from farms, to forest, to coast, to vineyards. I hope you enjoy some of the pictures I took along the way.
